Programme

Four questions for the session

  1. 1

    Digital twins

Can AI help farmers simulate agricultural decisions before implementing them in the real world?

  2. 2

    Intelligent farming

How can predictive AI optimise crop yields, fertiliser use and agricultural sustainability?

  3. 3

    Food security

Could AI help Malaysia become a regional leader in climate resilient agriculture?

  4. 4

    From research to reality

How can innovations such as FarmNeura be translated into practical, affordable solutions for farmers?

This conversation complements UPM's leadership of the Agriculture and AI Sector Lab at Akal Budi AI 2027, taking place on 17 and 18 April 2027 at the University of Oxford, and celebrates a growing Malaysia UK partnership in agricultural innovation.
